Best Time to Visit : October to March
How to Reach : Jaipur has its own airport and railway station. A wide network of roads makes it possible to reach the place with utmost ease.

Also known by the name of Lakshminarayan Temple, the Jaipur Birla Temple is a modern architectural wonder. The grand temple is located on an elevated ground at the base of Moti Dungari hill in Rajasthan. The Birla Temple is said to be a replica of a Scottish castle. The Birla Mandir at Rajasthan is built by the famous B.M. Birla Foundation, which is one of the world's most famous business foundations. While in Rajasthan, a visit to Birla Mandir should be one of your topmost priorities.

Built entirely in the finest quality white marble, the temple has some beautifully carved sculptures and idols. It is dedicated to Lord Lakshmi Narayan also known as Lord Vishnu of the Hindu trinity. The three main domes of the Temple represent a very clear picture of secular India as they portray different approaches to the religions of the nation. The temple has some of the most beautifully crafted idols of Lord Ganesha and other Hindu Gods. Alongwith the idols of Gods, one can find statues of great thinkers and philosophers like Buddha and Socrates.

The Birla Temple looks like a magical palace during the festival of Janmashtami, which is celebrated to mark the birth of Lord Krishna. The whole temple is decorated beautifully with flowers and festoons. In the evening, the temple glows, as it is illuminated with a thousand light bulbs. The magnificent structure in white marble glows in breathtaking radiance and captivates everyone with its unparalleled beauty.
